ANDREW CHAMBERS

Andrew Chambers is a UK-based Offline Editor and First Assistant Editor with over 15 years’ experience in post-production.

Andrew's career has taken him across a broad range of productions, including factual and documentary, drama, entertainment, promotional content and corporate work. Alongside his editing experience, he has worked extensively as an Assistant Editor and First Assistant Editor, supporting editors, directors and production teams across demanding broadcast and scripted workflows.

His experience working with post houses, production companies and agencies has given him a strong understanding of both the creative and technical sides of post-production. He is comfortable working across Avid and Adobe workflows, managing the practical demands of post while keeping the focus on the story and the finished film.

Andrew's interest in editing began at the age of 12, when he started making films using two VHS players, manually cutting and assembling footage tape-to-tape. That early fascination with how individual shots could be shaped into a story stayed with him and ultimately led to a career in post-production.

In 2010, Andrew also co-founded Chambers Bros Productions with his brother Tom. The UK-based production company has produced music videos, documentaries and promotional content for record labels, musicians and corporate clients, with Tom bringing his cinematography and photography experience and Andrew leading the post-production and editing.

Today, Andrew works as a freelance editor and First Assistant Editor, and is available for remote and UK-based projects. He enjoys working collaboratively with production teams and is always interested in new projects, whether shaping a story in the edit or helping a production run smoothly through post.
