Dagger and Romero is a Web-mini series produced whilst studying at Portsmouth University in 2007. Originally shot on Mini DV and made specifically as a Myspace project this series gained a small cult following and received good viewing figures and responses. It was due to this that a 2nd and 3rd episodes were made. The show follows two men; Austyn Romero and Tom Dagger as they form an alliance to take down the cities criminals and monsters. Inspired by TV shows such as Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, Torchwood, The Sweeney and a variety of computer games, comics and films.
The show was created by Andrew Chambers & Chris Wingrove. Andrew Chambers wrote, Directed, Edited, Scored and Starred in Dagger and Romero (Dagger) with Chris Wingrove Writing, Camera and Starring (Zord). The cast was made up of other friends and students who were also attending Portsmouth University.
